Karis Land is a Louisville native currently pursuing a BACS degree in Computer Science at the J.B. Speed School of Engineering.
She previously received a degree in Anthropology from the College of Arts and Sciences at U of L while following her passion for learning more about what makes people tick and ancient civilizations.
Karis went on to to become an essential founding staff member of a startup business called The Growth Center for Counseling and Wellness. She remained dedicated to helping the business and staff grow for the next 15 years, designing new systems and processes every step of the way.
Karis spread her wings and earned a License in Real Estate and became a Realtor through the Greater Association of Realtors. She completed 40 hours of Post License Education before deciding that her passion and talents had a different design.
Her final destination is in the world of Computer Science and she is motivated by her passion to pursue AI development and research as well as virtual game design.
